A Year in Brazil
After two years filled with prophetic dreams and words, I am stepping out in obedience and from February 2027 I will be leaving Manchester, England spending a year in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Why Brazil?
Before the Lord began calling me to move, I had no desire to leave Manchester. My plan was simple: finish my Journalism degree and begin applying for jobs within the field.
But on 26 August 2024, I had my first dream about Brazil.
In the dream, I was on a plane transporting gallons of water. When I woke up, I couldn’t shake the feeling that perhaps the Lord was calling me in some capacity to visit Brazil. I began to pray, simply saying, “Lord, if You want to send me, I am willing to go.”
Then, on 16 April 2025, while praying for direction and guidance—still unsure whether the Lord was sending me anywhere—I was led to this Scripture:
“It might happen that the designated place of worship—the place the Lord your God has chosen for His name to be honoured—is a long way from your home.”
Deuteronomy 12:21
I knew in that moment that the Lord was calling me beyond England.
Over the following months, a series of dreams, words and confirmations began to unfold. In September 2025, I found myself in Kentucky attending the Awakening Project. No one there knew about the dreams I had been having, the words I had received, or the growing burden the Lord had placed on my heart for the nations.
Before the trip, I prayed a simple prayer:
“Lord, if it is Brazil, please make it clear on this trip.”
On the final day, a pastor from Germany, who had never met me before and knew nothing about what I had been praying, came up to me with a clear word from the Lord.
He told me, “The Lord is sending you to Brazil, and from Brazil you will reach the nations.”
He then named the specific ministry I was to contact: Dunamis School of Ministry.
From that moment, an incredible number of prophetic words, confirmations and circumstances began to fall into place. There is far more to the story than I can fit onto this page, but through it all, I became increasingly certain that Brazil was where the Lord was leading me after university.
In July 2026, I graduated with my Journalism degree and was accepted into Dunamis School of Ministry.
Now, in February 2027, I will be moving to Brazil to spend a year at the school, being equipped in biblical foundations, ministry, leadership, missions and the gifts of the spirit, while serving and growing within the Dunamis community.
I am incredibly expectant for what the Lord is going to do during this season and for how He will use it to shape what comes next.
